Hello once again folks, been a while I came to you with another session of #MusicWedeyfeel on a Music Monday like this. If I am not mistaken this should be the first of the year 2016.
Today I will bring to your enjoyment pleasure the music of two soothing tunes from the young men who I tip to be a huge sensation soon on the continent.
Now if you have your passports and flight tickets ready, join me as I take you on a trip to Tanzania to enjoy the tune from Mayunga.
Mayunga Nalimi born, May 15th 1991, is a Tanzanian musician, actor and singer-song writer. He was discovered in 2010 when he reigned supreme in the national broadcast of Airtel TRACE Music Star
taking home the first place trophy as winner of the competition. Now this is the tune I outdoor to your enjoyment.
1. MAYUNGA feat AKON - PLEASE DON'T GO AWAY
A beautiful song by all standards and I think he will do well if he keeps his head on the ground and become a favourite artist on the continent.
Now lets take a quick turn back to West Africa and land in Nigeria as I introduce you to the man revered as the ladies man. He is signed to Banky W's Empire Mates Entertainment holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and as well holds the ideals of family very seriously. Well he is no mystery now I guess, call him Shaydee, a fast rising artist who believes will be one of Nigeria's big music exports very soon. Enjoy his tune which is a song I am digging right now.
2. SHAYDEE - SMILE
Trust me, if you don't enjoy this soothing tune then, you'll have more to deal with me.....hahahaha...just kidding.
Tell me what you think out these two features for today in the comments section. Again thanks for checking out my blog as I continue to look out for the best tunes on the continent to celebrate and share with you.

LET'S JAM TO MUSIC MONDAY - #MUSICWEDEYFEEL
So this week I decided to play the bias card a little.
I am sure you'll noticed I pick two or more countries to feature those beautiful tunes from thier various countries. This week I chose to go with just a single country. The country I chose for our reading and enjoyment pleasure for #MusicWeDeyfeel for this week's #Music monday is #CONGO.
This country is known for it's rich culture and diversity of lifestyle. Their music I believe needs no introduction since over the years, they've had some top ones.
My first choice for you is;
1. LOKUA KANZA - I BELIEVE IN YOU
Lokua Kanza is both a singer and songwriter known for his ballads mostly. His style is more mainstream compared to the others as he explores a more modern tradition of Congolese music that speaks to people worldwide.
My second artist to feature from Congo is no doubt one of the biggest acts to come out of that country and continent at large.
2. FALLY IPUPA - SWEET LIFE
Fally is also known through his self proclaimed nicknames such as ‘Fally Ipupa Dicaprio la Merveille Pibe de Oro Pitshishi Hustler’. "No Congolese party would now be complete without Fally Ipupa" one entertainment tabloid was quoted at stating that.
Till I come your way again with another exciting set of tunes, I wish you a Merry Christmas.
Season's Greetings !!!

JAM TO THIS WEEK'S MUSICWEDEYFEEL PICKS
Great to be back here again. It's another Monday and as my quest to bring you the best of tunes from our continent, I will be introducing you to some great talents.
This week I chose my first act from Nigeria. Now let's get to it;
1. ADEKUNLE GOLD - ORENTE
Adekunle is one fast rising artist to come out of Nigeria. His sleek voice and traditional touch to his tunes makes his music unique and soothing to the ear. Indigenous and exclusively cultural piece from Adekunle Gold and it is titled, "Orente". A love song explained the Yoruba way about the faithfulness of a woman who adores a man despite all the odds against them. This video expresses love and I know you'll love this tune.
Now to the very next artist, we take a trip down south to the rainbow country South Africa and I bring you Berita.
2. BERITA - MWANA WA MAI FEAT OLIVER MTUKUDZI & HUGH MASEKELA
BERITA is an Award winning singer, a Gold selling songwriter and guitarist with a touch soul to her music. Enjoy this tune and tell me what you think if this doesn't make you love African music.
Music theysay is the food to the soul. This is ours. #MusicWeDeyfeel is on again next Monday.
Cheers for reading.

Over the few weeks, I have tried taking you round the continent with our beautiful music tunes. This week is no exception.
I know you'll love the countries I picked out for you for this week's #MusicWeDeyFeel post.
This week I am taking you down south to South Africa then we jump a little into Kenya on the East.
Enjoy my picks for this week folks.
1. BUCIE - GET OVER IT - SOUTH AFRICA
If you love house music, Bucie's - Get over It tune featured above should get you kicking your feet and nodding your head to the rhythm. A very simple and beautiful video to go with and that is my first pick for this week.
2. JOSE CHAMELEONE - WALE WALE - KENYA
I take you to Kenya this week and featuring is Jose Chameleone. I got introduced to this artist through a working colleague and since then, I have become a fan. A typical East African style of music and the video is a very sleek one.

#MusicWeDeyFeel, My Playlist
Good to be back once again. As promised, another Monday is here and today isn't any exception than to bring you my picks of wonderful tunes from the motherland.
This week I take you all the way to two beautiful countries with great talent. They are Angola and Uganda. Here we go;
1. Bruna Tatiana - Eu Falhei (ANGOLA)
If you love Kizomba, then this artist's tunes shouldn't escape your African music playlist. The song title trams;ated in to English means " I FAILED". She sings very well and the rhythm is always on point even if the language seems to be a barrier.
2. Bebe Cool - Loving You Everyday (UGANDA)
Personally one of my favorite from this artist. Great video, this song has a reggae vibe to it and message is straight forward on what his intentions are.
Still waiting for your playlist so I share with my readers. Till I come your way again, next week, Enjoy these tunes.

Another Music Monday- #MusicWedeyFeel
African music in its entirety
is one to revere. Its rich drums especially, create wonderful sound for which
people being entertained by it can dance to the rhythm it produces.
Some few years back I started
to even appreciate it the more when it earned its new face. African music nowadays,
for which some call it Afro Pop as well as genres like Kwaito, House, Hip Life
and the likes, really tickles my fancy and I am sure it does to you also.
A few years on social media,
I found a running hashtag on Mondays which sounded interesting. Want to know?
#MusicMondays it is –it highlights the various songs people are grooving to,
downloading or enjoying at that moment.
So the little African in
me decided to check out f there were any African tunes being shared. That led
me to the hashtag #MusicWeDeyFeel. Following it keenly especially in twitter, I
realized it was targeted towards tunes from our continent. I later found out
that it was spear-headed by Museke. Over the period I had
contributed to the trend of sharing my favorite African music.
Now I want to bring it
to my platform here. So every Monday hopefully, I should bring you my pick of
tunes from the continent so you also check it out.
So for this week, I start
with these two tunes, I am sure you’ll love. And for your enjoyment pleasure,
watch it right here;
1. Seyi Shay
featuring Iyanya and Banky W – Right Now (Remix) – Nigeria
2. Mi Casa featuring Sauti Sol – Tuale Fofofo – South Africa/Kenya
Stay tuned till I come
your way next week Monday for another set of enjoyable African music. If no one
will celebrate us, we will celebrate ourselves.

HOW FANS OF SARKODIE REACTED TO HIS #NEWGUY SONG
And so it happened one afternoon, with just a single tweet with photos of Sarkodie and Ace Hood sitting in a studio and another on set of a video shoot.
This drew some huge talk in the capital and some o[art of the country for which Sarkodie trended in twitter.
Down the line, and BOOM, rumours of Sark paying some huge amount to get the We Are The Best artist to collaborate to his new joint #NEWGUY. a lot of rumors and talk amidst speculation of all sorts speared all over social media, print media and the likes.
Well to cut it short, finally the tune has been released and it looks like the track is catching fire just a few hours of it's release.
I then decided to follow reaction from various platforms especially on social media on what people were talking and murmuring about in relation to the tune. So sit back and just read through the few I got so you can also make your judgement.
Interesting views I guess from all over to a point where comparisons are been made with other artists on the continent. Continue to check out more views and opinions below.
I am sure sure i can still get loads and load of opinions online about this new guy tune from Sarkodie but it will be great top know yours in the comments session.
If you still haven't heard of the song I am talking and blogging about, get the DEEZER app on your phone if you are on Tigo Network.

#MUSICWEDEYFEEL: My #MusicMonday Playlist
“Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the
universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to
life and to everything” – Plato
If you know me a little you’ll get to understand why
I love music. Over the years I have been exposed to various music genres.

| Music We Dey Feel |
I felt like doing this special post for these few
tunes that has been running all over my playlist of virtually every gadget I have.
They’ve all been on replay anytime I want to enjoy some tunes to either relax
or kill some stress.
In choosing this day, #MusicWeDeyFeel on
#MusicMondays which has been running on social media for some time now and since
it’s also been pushed to celebrate music from the continent; I decided to do it
this way my way.
First on the playlist is
Manifest
feat Obrafour – No Shortcut to Heaven
I know a few friends would go like, me? Liking a
Manifest song for it to be on my blog, yes!! This is a great song and to me one
of the best tunes from Manifest. Video- DOPE!! On any day, it should win
Photography and Best Storyline in any music video award event. No wonder it
tops my list.
Next stop is;
Seyi
Shay featuring Patorankin – Murda
I discovered this tune after a good friend Dj Sid formerly
of Citi FM played it at a party and took the trouble to look out for the tune
and since then, it’s been a companion. Great composition and collaboration by
all standards.
Talking about collaboration, I think it’s prudent to
follow with another classic one from
P-Square
featuring Don Jazzy – Collabo
I happened to have chanced on this tune by default
as I was down and decided to entertain myself on my VEVO app by just watching
music videos. It popped up as the next tune and the next thing was to repeat
the tune for over five times. Great tune and is also soft to the ears any day
anytime.
The first time I heard the tune, it didn’t sound
cool to me, reason I was rushing up to get a report done in the office so didn’t
really give much ear to. What tune am I talking about?
Samini
featuring Kwabena Kwabena – Zongo Zer
I later checked out Samini’s twitter timeline and
saw he had given a link to download this tune for free. So I did and it’s been
a tune to request if I had the opportunity to at any gig or party I attend.
Personally this next artist’s music, says a whole
lot that you need to listen to. It’s a deep tune and I have much admiration for
him. Want to know who?
M.
I. featuring Nosa & Milli – Brother
This tune is from his current “Chairman” album. I call
it Life Music!!! My impression about the album, you’ll need to get it and
listen to it entirely. Maturity,- on point delivery and great arrangement. It might
not be your usual expectation of a ‘dance dance’ album but if you really
appreciate music in totality, you should fall in love with this album.
Get a copy of the album here: M.I. Abanga - Chairman Album
Glad you took time to pass by my blog. if you have any tune that you think should jump i here, hit me up in the comment area and we will digest it.
Cheers!!!
